Bridgeway Unveils New Maturity Assessment Model -- Helps Legal Departments Achieve Business Goals

Bridgeway Software, the most recommended provider of legal services management solutions, today announced the immediate availability of their new Law Department Maturity Assessment Tool, a comprehensive, self-service measurement tool that enables legal departments to assess their operational maturity and gauge how well their department is contributing to their organization's over-arching business goals.  By helping legal professionals understand how effectively they are utilizing people, process and technology, they can move away from being a reactive responder towards a position that is proactive and fully-aligned with business goals and priorities.  To learn more, visit the Company in booth number 225 at the  LegalTech New York show on January 29-31 at the Hilton New York.

Today’s legal departments are expected to run like a business.  While this mandate is tried and true, it alone doesn’t enable the legal function to maximize its value and fulfill its purpose within the organization.  The Bridgeway Law Department Maturity ModelSM is designed to identify ways to improve attorney productivity and promote value-add decision making.  The model enables legal teams to perform simple diagnostics that help them gain an understanding of their current position on the maturity curve, and then identify tactics to establish a realistic action plan for achieving success.  By ensuring people, processes and technology all work in harmony, legal departments can achieve greater results while contributing to the primary goals of their company.

"Legal departments need to determine where they fall in the Law Department Maturity Model in order to become fully business-aligned," said Bill Young, Product Line and Law Department Operations Executive at Bridgeway Software and creator of the Law Department Maturity Model.  "Legal teams should start by performing some simple diagnostics to gain an understanding of their current position on the maturity curve and their utilization of three key levers of success; People, Process and Technology. T hen, they can identify tactics to establish a realistic action plan for achieving success."
