New App Transforms iPad from Gadget to Litigator’s Ace in the Hole #LTNY

TrialPad, an iPad app designed exclusively for litigators, expert witnesses and paralegals to present electronic evidence, is now available for purchase at the iTunes App Store.  The announcement was made today by the product’s creators, Lit Software, LLC, a joint venture between Kaufman, Rossin & Co. and Saurian Litigation Support.

TrialPad can be used in a trial, hearing, or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) setting and is significantly lower in cost than using professional trial presentation consultants, which is usually prohibitive for all but the largest cases.  Unlike PDF readers, the app allows attorneys to organize, manage, and annotate documents and present compelling evidence to a judge or jury using projection equipment that is available in most courtrooms and law firms.  In addition to saving money by eliminating the need for expensive outside consultants, TrialPad also removes the need for cumbersome trial boards.

TrialPad can be purchased at the ITunes App Store for a one-time cost of $89.99.  More information is available at www.trialpad.com.
