Digital Archive Chooses Hot Neuron's Clustify to Cluster e-Discovery Documents. #LTNY

Digital Archive, an EDMS and e-discovery software services company located in Long Beach, CA, has announced an alliance with Hot Neuron LLC, an information retrieval software and services company. Digital Archive will use Hot Neuron's ClustifyTM software to provide conceptual clustering and near-duplicate identification services to its partners and clients.

Clustify groups related documents into clusters and labels each cluster with descriptive keywords. This labeled clustering of documents provides a quick overview of the document set, speeds up review, and ensures that related documents are reviewed together. A major advantage with Clustify is its ability to automatically categorize newly added documents by comparing them to the existing set of documents, sometimes referred to as "predictive coding." Clustify determines the category for the new documents by looking for categorized documents that have sufficient conceptual similarity or near-duplicate similarity, as specified by the user, greatly reducing the review volume.

"The alliance between Digital Archive and Hot Neuron will accelerate adoption of Clustify as the premier clustering solution for e-discovery," stated Bill Dimm, Founder of Hot Neuron LLC. "We are excited to have Clustify added to the comprehensive list of services and capabilities that Digital Archive provides."

"We are very impressed with its speed and unique approach to conceptual clustering and near-duplicate identification for e-discovery," said Clay Ramsdell, a Partner in Digital Archive. "We have begun implementing Clustify on all current projects and look forward to utilizing its capabilities going forward."
