When scheduling systems need urgent care, many law firms turn to EMS. #LTNY

Dean Evans & Associates, Inc. first developed room scheduling and event management software in 1986 by creating a custom solution for a facility that needed a better way to manage its rooms, resources and endless detail for the thousands of events it hosted each year. The result was the Event Management System (EMS), a software application that handled everything from initial contact with the customer to final settlement of their bill.

Today, more than 4,000 facilities and 2.5 million registered users rely on EMS to manage millions of meetings and events each year. A Native American reservation, a couple of NFL football stadiums, global law firms and local law practices are among just a few of the diverse organizations using EMS. The facility and resource scheduling products expanded over the years to include scheduling software designed specifically with the legal, corporate, K-12, higher education, worship facilities and government sectors in mind. EMS also provides a Master Calendar, which is widely used to create and maintain interactive web calendars.

When their current scheduling software (or sometimes even antiquated pen-and-paper booking) systems aren’t getting the job done, many law firms turn to EMS solutions.
