TCDI® announces the introduction of CV5 for smarter document review and production

TCDI®, a market leader in litigation support solutions for eDiscovery and litigation case management, announced today the introduction of CV5™ for smarter document review & production. CV5 was designed to provide efficiency and productivity enhancements for review teams, while also maximizing performance and responsiveness over the Internet. Major enhancements include:

Reviewer Productivity

Document Reviewers will see significantly improved review rates and coding consistencies with CV5. CV5 offers an enhanced interface for organizing the delivery and review of documents based on common concepts and topics. Its built-in email thread viewer allows reviewers to visually examine entire email threads and quickly code multiple documents based on the most inclusive email. Coding of contextual near duplicates is also no longer a challenge with CV5’s ability to group and visually highlight the differences between documents.

Automation

CV5 has built-in automation that saves time and reduces risks of human error. Clients can now create custom review workflows that automatically manage the flow of documents through even the most complex set of review processes and QC steps without manual intervention. Review Administrators can also automate the process of ongoing and targeted document assignments to reviewers which frees them to focus on more pressing project responsibilities.

Performance & Responsiveness

From the ground up, CV5 was developed using Google Web Toolkit (GWT). GWT is a set of web-development tools for building and optimizing the framework for complex web-based applications. Its goal is to enable productive development of high-performance web applications across browsers, and provide a more responsive and flexible interface for an enhanced user experience. GWT is used in many products at Google and is also used by developers around the world.

“CV5 is a major version release of our review and production platform ClarVergence®,” said TCDI President and CEO Bill Johnson. “It contains important enhancements with advanced technology and automation that will streamline work processes, improve productivity and significantly reduce the cost involved in legal document review & production.”

TCDI will be featuring CV5 at LegalTech New York later this month.
