Donovan & Watkins was retained by one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world to provide a document review solution for what could become the largest such project ever completed. The dynamics of this particular case were so complex that a standard review structure would most likely be incapable of delivering the cohesiveness, efficiency and quality required. In order to effectively and defensibly complete the scope of the review, a strategic management structure would have to be implemented that would support multiple reviews with each review addressing a particular cross section of the company’s exposure.
