With SMASHDOCs the smartwork solutions GmbH develops web app that enables a quick and easy collaboration for or between companies in real-time. The SMASHDOCs app will save all changes to a document in one instead of multiple versions. For each paragraph, the user can see at any time who made or authorized what changes and when. Manual comparison of documents is no longer necessary.
SMASHDOCs works as software as a service on German servers of smartworks solutions GmbH as well as a private cloud or on premise installation in an own data center. In addition the API can be integrated in existing web applications like social intranets, CMS or file sharing solution. The company’s headquarters are located in Gauting near Munich. The startup was founded in 2013 and could raise a series A investment of one million euros (about 1,2 million $) in August 2014. More information on www.smashdocs.net.
