Wave Software Leverages Recent Achievements to Excel into 2011

Company invests in acquisitions, technology, expands operations and adds staff to support industry-leading e-discovery and project management software

ORLANDO, FL (February 22, 2011) - Orlando-based Wave Software, a leading provider of early case assessment, legal hold, project management and electronic data discovery technology for global corporations, today announced it is leveraging its 2010 success to build a very exciting 2011. A year of accomplishments propels the legal industry’s leading e-discovery software provider into growth mode. Recent highlights that include the acquisition of iFramework and E.L. Native Review (renamed as Trident Preview) afford Wave Software the ability to expand its product offering across more of the EDRM.

Now, with Wave Software’s entire suite of products, users will be able to filter and cull discovery data, including foreign language documents, PSTs, NSFs and loose files, plus see near-real-time metrics on the tasks being performed. The iFramework acquisition and integration allows project managers to better control projects and meet deadlines because the metrics of their projects processed in Trident Pro will be easily accessible and continually updated within the application. Managers will have access to project data, down to a custodian level, including processing status, volume, and speed. They will also have the ability to track and resource balance multiple instances of Trident Pro, running on the same or varied projects, all from one central location that also integrates with the tracking of team members, tasks, calendars and evidence.

Last fall, Wave Software acquired Trident Preview. This application was built for LexisNexis Concordance® and it streamlines the native document review process by displaying a document without the need to have the native application installed (e.g., Microsoft Office®). Trident Preview is currently integrated into Wave Software’s Trident Pro and the acquisition allows Wave Software to control more aspects of discovery technology from data creation to production and storage.

In January, Wave Software moved its corporate headquarters. The new Downtown Orlando location allows them to take advantage of finance, professional services, the large labor force, and proximity to government entities.

Another monumental accomplishment for Wave Software was that it won an ITFlorida award for Excellence in IT Leadership in the Central Florida division. ITFlorida has a reputable history of honoring companies that transform, unite and build recognition for the exceptional achievements of Florida's information technology community. Wave Software won this award for the innovation and advancement of its flagship product, Trident Pro.

Since its inception in 2006, Wave Software has experienced a minimum average of 50 percent annual increase in revenue. Trident Pro won the Socha-Gelbmann Top Provider award and in 2010, Childress accepted two bronze Law Technology News awards on behalf of the company and was named in President’s Corner of LTN.

“We had a very successful 2010,” stated Wave Software co-founder and President Robert Childress. “Wave Software will use this momentum and success to expand our product lines, while maintaining the same level of service, delivery and results.”
