Opus 2 Magnum to Launch Share Initiative at #LTNY15 @Opus2Magnum

Opus 2 International, the leading provider of collaborative workspaces for litigation, announced today will launch its “Opus 2 Shares” initiative at LegalTech New York 2015 and donate its conference swag budget to one of four short-listed charities. The Opus 2 Shares program engages LegalTech booth visitors in the selection of the beneficiary of Opus’s donation, and the program draws attention to the impact of sharing in the context of team collaboration during litigation—which is the domain of the company’s flagship service, Opus 2 Magnum™.  As part of the Opus 2 Shares program, booth visitors will be invited to participate in a one-minute survey that will illuminate trends in how litigators collaborate on work product. The subsequent “Opus 2 Shares Trend Report” summarizing the collective survey responses and their potential implications for the practice of litigation will be distributed after the conference.

The final survey question includes four short-listed charities that share key attributes with the Opus 2 Magnum service, specifically: “working remotely,” “sharing knowledge,” “developing global communities” and “working sustainably.” Survey participants may vote for either One Laptop Per Child, Kahn Academy, AIESEC International or Rainforest Trust. Every completed survey adds another $10 to the swag budget to be donated to the selected charity.

The share initiative is part of a series of activities planned by Opus 2 for LegalTech New York. The company will also preview updates to its current Opus 2 Magnum platform as part of its Version 5 Beta Program, which will feature significant enhancements to various aspects of document, exhibit and transcript functionality. In addition, Opus 2 announced an integration with iCONECT-XERA®, which makes Opus 2 Magnum transcripts available from within the iCONECT-XERA document review platform via a single sign-on.  Opus 2 will be exhibiting at LegalTech at booth 1315, and visitors can also learn more about the integration from iCONECT at booth 2503.
