Masters Conference Announces Huron Legal as a Sponsor at 2011 Event

ORLANDO, FL, June 22, 2011 - The Masters Conference, an advanced legal educational experience, announced that Huron Consulting Group will be a sponsor at its 2011 conference. The company’s Huron Legal practice adds value to corporate law departments, law firms and government agencies by helping to reduce legal spend, enhance client service, and increase operational effectiveness. The theme for Masters Conference 2011 is “Security, Privacy and Compliance within Corporate Litigation,” and it will be held October 3-5 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. Sessions will offer expert insight on the challenges and solutions of litigation and discovery and attendees are expected from across the globe include leading experts and professionals from law firms, corporations, government and the bench.

“Our clients continue to need help managing costs and information in an extremely competitive and litigious marketplace. Huron Legal delivers results such as sustainable cost reductions, process and technology assessments followed by successful implementations, and discovery cost savings,” said James Zinn, managing director and Legal Managed Services solution leader. “Huron Legal is pleased to sponsor the Masters Conference.”

Huron Legal has assisted over 275 general counsel at some of the world’s largest companies and has worked with most top tier national and international law firms. The company provides guidance and business services to assist organizations confronted with the challenges of today’s legal environment.

The convergence of cloud computing and mobile computing have provided great improvements in accessibility while lowering the total cost of ownership for computer systems and service. Re-emergence of centralized systems-of-record whose physical locations become less business relevant and the dramatic increase in the decentralized points of access are creating new challenges for the protection, preservation, collection and management of data.

Masters Conference 2011 will offer two educational tracks that will be presented by corporate and law firm thought leaders. The first will be an introductory track for electronic discovery skills and best practices. The second will be an advanced track covering emerging issues of data security, privacy and compliance systems. Each year the Masters Conference provides practical CLE education for lawyers and data-oriented professionals that is delivered with front-line experience. Masters Conference content is developed by an advisory cabinet of industry thought leaders. Attendees will gain practical knowledge, presented by peers, on current issues that can be applied immediately to everyday practice.
