DISCO announces Relativity switch campaign

New promotion designed to allow customers of Relativity to switch a case to DISCO for free

Houston, TX —  Legal technology company CS Disco Inc. today announced the start of a new marketing campaign designed to help users of the leading legacy ediscovery platform — Relativity — move away from outdated software to the performance and ease of use of DISCO. The campaign, dubbed Relativity Switch, is poised to build on the thousands of happy lawyers and litigation support professionals who have already migrated to DISCO.

Common complaints voiced about Relativity are its slow speed, frustrating user experience, and confusing pricing. “Having worked on document-intensive claims ranging from antitrust law, copyright, trademark, to white collar defense — I have done my fair share of ediscovery,” said Louis Dorny, Senior Attorney at Gordon & Rees LLP. “I switched to DISCO because it’s built by and for lawyers. Most ediscovery tools are built for vendors. If you’ve ever had to call a vendor to get new users added or new tags created, you know what I mean. Instead, DISCO allows me to easily search, find, and produce documents.”

The premise of Relativity Switch is this: for a limited time, Relativity users can switch an active Relativity matter to DISCO for free. For matters being transferred to DISCO from Relativity, DISCO will migrate the matter and provide the first 6 months hosting without fees.*

“There is no doubt I would recommend DISCO to any colleague,” stated Craig Hunter, Of Counsel at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP. “DISCO allows me to easily produce documents and privilege logs whenever needed, with no hidden costs. Furthermore, DISCO has been a great company to work with.”

In addition to significant growth within the Am Law 200 market, with now over 60 firms utilizing its platform, DISCO has also seen tremendous growth at litigation boutiques. Today the company is the defacto standard for ediscovery for over 300 leading litigation boutiques.

“DISCO can handle anything you throw at it and is scalable for any size case,” said Kevin Dorse, Senior Attorney at Theodora Oringher PC. “We routinely use DISCO now on cases small to large, including a massive 24TB database with 100 million documents and dozens of users in multiple locations.”

“As more and more firms join their peers in switching to DISCO, we look forward to partnering with their lawyers and litigation support staff to help them build differentiated legal services using technology and improve legal outcomes for their clients,” said DISCO CEO Kiwi Camara.
